Welcome to the webpage of Dr. Georges J. Kipouros. I am Professor Emeritus at University of Saskatchewan, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics at University of Waterloo, and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie University. I am also a Fellow of CAE, Fellow of CIM, Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Sciences, and CIM Distinguished Lecturer.
My research interests lie in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. My primary interests include the electrochemical engineering of molten salt electrolysis, the thermodynamic and electrochemical as well as spectroscopic properties of reactive metal halide systems, corrosion, recycling of reactive metals, utilization of minerals in metal matrix composites, powder metallurgy, and additive manufacturing, others.

I am a citizen of Canada and Greece. I collaborate with researchers across the globe, including the USA, the EU, Japan, India, Pakistan, and China.
